Welcon International Limited, formerly known as Sinner Energy India Limited, incorporated in 1995, was engaged in activities like commodity trading and distribution. In 2015, 2029800 equity shares of Rs 10 each got listed on BSE Ltd through Direct Listing route and that later, in 2016, the Board of Directors approved the subdivision of equity shares of Rs 10 each into denomination of Re 1 each and the decision was ratified by members at the Annual General Meeting held in September. The board of directors, in 2018, decided to diversify into more profitable businesses like construction and information technology activities. As a result of the decision, the name of the company was changed from Sinner Energy India Limited to Welcon International Limited and their main object clause was altered to include objects related to the aforesaid businesses. During the year 2019, the company shifted its registered office from Gujarat to Maharashtra in Mumbai and the transition was completed in January.
