About Muthoot Capital Services Ltd

Muthoot Capital Services Ltd is a public limited non banking financial company registered with the Reserve Bank of India. They offer a variety of services, including nonconvertible debentures, auto loans, small and medium enterprise loans, gold loans, lease financing and bonds, as well as financial advisory services and wealth management. Their shares are listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and they are one of the leading financial institutions in the banking and finance sector. Established in 1994, they entered the auto loan business in 1995, and obtained their Category A Deposit accepting NBFC License in 1998. Over the years, they have obtained most licencally agreements, including IRDA to act as a Corporate Agent in 2007 and HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company Ltd in 2009. Other noteworthy agreements include a ratio of 1:1 rights issue in 2011 and an MOU with Suzuki Motorcycle in 2015.
