About Mukta Arts Ltd

Mukta Arts Ltd. is a celebrated entertainment company offering an array of content production and distribution services under the direction of Hindi film personality Subhash Ghai. Established in 1982, the company has managed to come out with a Rs 100 crore public issue in July 2000 – a first for a Hindi film production company. Following a successful allotment, the company got its debut listing on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) at Rs 220 – a premium of 33% over the offer price of Rs 165. Known for its exceptionally successful productions, Mukta Arts is actively engaged in renting out cinematic equipment and filmmaking services. It also operates an institute, Whistling Woods Institute, in joint venture with Maharashtra Film Stage and Cultural Development Corporation Ltd. which is expected to begin functioning from July 2005.
