About Menon Bearings Ltd

Menon Bearings MBL is a public limited company founded on 4 July 1991. The company produces thin walled engine bearings bushings and thrust washers and launched a public issue in January 1993 to fund their Rs. 8.17 crore project. They have a technical agreement with King Israel for technological insight into design, production and commissioning. Major clients of the company include Telco, Maruti Udyog, Mahindra, Kirloskar, Cummins, Greaves and Eicher. Menon Bearings MBL also exports to UK, Egypt, Spain, Israel and USA. In 1996, the company was awarded an ISO 9002 certificate, and production of both Bushes and Thrust Washers has been increased from 2.7 million to 3.6 million nos and 565,000 to 1.4 million nos respectively. MBL has also designed and implemented a new rolling process for the manufacture of flanged bearings in 2000-2001.
