About Maral Overseas Ltd

Maral Overseas MOL, part of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, was formed in 1989 as a 100% export oriented spinning mill with an initial capacity of 20,160 spindles for the manufacturing of combed cotton yarn. Located in the Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh, the mill became operational in January 1992 and entered into a five-year agreement with companies from the UK and Mauritius to supply 400 tons per month of cotton yarn. In 1998-99, the mill underwent expansion, with the installation of 16,128 spindles, 12 circular machines, 4.25 MW capacity power plant, and 4211 MT of knitted fabrics, 2760 MT of processed fabrics, and 5,643,000 pieces of readymade garments. In 2000-01, another expansion was started with the aim of modernisation, technological upgradation, and balancing of their Sarovar and Jammu units, funded in part by the FIs Banks’ Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme, and the capacity of the Sarovar power division was increased from 2.8 to 7 MW.
