About Lakshmi Precision Screws Ltd

Lakshmi Precision Screws (LPS) is an Indian company catering to the industrial sectors like automobiles, machine tools, refrigeration and textile machinery. It offers different high-tensile fasteners for the domestic and export markets and is a leading exporter of industrial fasteners. In 1983, the company part-financed an expansion of installed capacity from 2,800 tpa to 6,000 tpa. As part of modernisation, a modern plant installed in 1993 increased the capacity further to 7500 tpa. In 199596, an expansion/modernisation scheme was undertaken with an estimated cost of Rs 16.55 crores and a further 2700 tpa increased the capacity. The company also entered into a joint venture with Bossard International AG Switzerland for software development and marketing/distribution of new range of fasteners. In 200102, the company was awarded the Golden Peacock Environment Management award from the WEF.
