Kanco Tea Industries Limited, a public limited company established in 1983, focuses on producing high quality premium teas for the domestic market. The company owns two tea estates – Mackeypore and Lakmijan – which together have an estimated annual production of 2 million kilograms and an installed processing capacity of 2.5 million kilograms of black tea. To ensure top quality tea production, the factories have upgraded machinery and automated processes, and are certified with ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
