About James Warren Tea Ltd

James Warren Tea Ltd. is a company that has been involved with the cultivation, manufacture and sale of tea since it was incorporated in 2009. The company has a decades long legacy that began in 1850 with James Warren planting tea estates near Dibrugarh in India. In 1983, the company was acquired by British businessman Govind Ruia. In 2021, the company has demerged seven high quality estates in the South Bank region of India's Upper Assam area into their own company, James Warren Tea Ltd. The company is also a part of the Ethical Trade Partnership and is certified with the HAPCP. Over the years, the company has been consistently exporting their teas to Europe, UK, USA, Japan, China, CIS and the Middle East, following the strictest rules and regulations. Eurofin laboratory is also utilised for testing their teas, with the results of shared with buyers. Furthermore, the company's investments in the Mayfair Investment Holding Pte Ltd. have also been sold in 2021.
