About Kama Holdings Ltd

Kama Holdings Limited (formerly known as SRF Polymers Limited) was incorporated in March 28th 2000 and is a Core Investment Company. SRF Limited, a chemical based multibusiness entity, is a subsidiary. It has operations in 4 countries – India, Thailand, South Africa, and Hungary and commercial interests in more than 90 countries. SRF Polymers Ltd was created through a demerger of the three businesses - Engineering Plastics, Fishnet Twines, and Polyester Films. The Engineering Plastics business caters to Nylon requirements for automobiles, white goods, electrical goods, telecom cables, textile machinery, and electronics sectors. SRF Polymer has set up a new plant at the Export Promotion Zone in Indore, Madhya Pradesh to cater to the Polyester Films business with a capacity of 25,000 Tonnes/annum. There was a Scheme of Arrangement approved by the Honorable Delhi High Court in 2011 to amalgamate investment divisions of SRF Polymers Investments Limited, Narmada Farms Private Limited, and Bhairav Farms Private Limited into the Company. In 2012-13, SRF Ltd had become a subsidiary of the Company. In 2019, SRF Limited incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary in Hungary and named it SRF Europe Kft to undertake the manufacture of packaging films.
