About Kalyani Forge Ltd

Kalyani ForgeKFL, previously known as Ellora Engineering Co. Pvt. Ltd., is an ISO 9002 certified forging industry, first of its kind in India to use press forging technology to produce precision closed die forgings with a maximum weight of 8kgs. Established in 1979, after the name changed in 1992, the company now has works in Sirur Taluka Maharashtra and provides its services to major suppliers such as Ashok Leyland Automotive Axles, Bajaj Auto, Gabriel India, TELCO etc. and also exports to US, Germany, UK, Japan, Italy, and Saudi Arabia. KFL has undertaken two projects; first one in 1995-96 with the cost of Rs.4 crore for manufacture of axle tube assemblies and machined components, the second expansion project was done in 1997-98 which costed Rs.18 crores in Koregaon Bhima. The Metal Forms Division was commercialized in 1998-99 and warm/cold forging plants were developed in later years to enable the company to produce tulips for CV Joint Assembly and other four-stroke items for 2-wheelers.
