About Inventure Growth & Securities Ltd

Inventure Growth Securities Ltd (IGSL) is the first generation financial intermediary of Inventure Group. They offer services such as stock broking, cash and derivatives trading, currency futures and much more across various asset classes, such as mutual funds, real estate, debt and insurance. Its subsidiaries are involved in activities related to commodity broking, financing, merchant banking and wealth management. With more than 40000 clients including corporations, institutions and individuals, and operating in 233 business locations across 29 cities and towns, Inventure is headquartered in Mumbai. It has been in the business of broking since 1996 and became a registered member of OTC Exchange of India in March 1996, CDSL in May 1999, NSE in August 2000, and SEBI Category I Merchant Banker in September 2000. Through subsequent acquisitions in 2007, 2008 and 2010, the company expanded their services further. In 2011, they had an Initial Public Offer (IPO) of Rs 81.90 crores and raised their stocks at Rs 117 per share. The stock was listed on BSE, NSE and MCXSX Stock Exchange in August, August and December 2011 respectively. In financial year 2014, the company earned recognition as one of the top four derivative segment performers of Bombay Stock Exchange. Since then, the company has expanded its services further and Inventure Developers Private Limited in 2018 is the most recent addition. IGSL has received a Show Cause Notice under Section 111 and 114 11A and 11B of SEBI Act in 2016 and responded with a written submission following a personal hearing in 2017. Additionally, Registrar of Companies had sought information for their Public Offer and the company has responded with all the related information on June 21, 2018.
