About Inter State Oil Carrier Ltd

Inter State Oil Carrier Ltd was incorporated in West Bengal in May of 1984. Originally promoted as a trading and investment business by Shanti Lal Jain and Sanjal Jain, the company name was changed to Inter State Financial Services and diversified into bulk tanker transportation goods and leasing in 1995. To secure long term resources for the business expansion plan, the company issued a public issue in March 1995. However this did not come to fruition due to the unfavorable market conditions i.e. in both the bourses and industrial scenario in the following years.
