About Balurghat Technologies Ltd

Balurghat Technologies Ltd was formed from a partnership firm and is now a joint stock company. Initially it started as an air transport business however government policy changes caused it to move to surface transport. The company now has service centres and branches in 23 states serving multinational clients including Britannia Industries, Voltas and Colgate-Palmolive.

Other ventures include petrol and lube oil services, an oil station in West Bengal, light commercial vehicles for monitoring consignments and the diamond business. The management of the company is currently reworking the branch infrastructure to better serve customers and diversify into fields of Information Technology and Telecommunications. With 180 branches and service centres, and a vast fleet of owned and associated trucks, Balurghat Technologies Ltd is a leader in providing transport services no matter the magnitude of the assignment.
