About India Cements Capital Ltd

India Cements Capital Finance Ltd (formerly known as Aruna Sugars Finance) is part of the Aruna Sugars group and specializes in providing fund-based activities such as leasing & hire purchase, bills discounting, fixed deposits, intercorporate deposits, and other non-fund based activities like managing fixed deposits, syndication of loans, foreign exchange broking and advisory services, and OTCEI dealership. They have offices in Madras, Bombay, Namakkal, Trichy, Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem, Bangalore, Cochin and Delhi; and their fixed deposit programme scored a FAA rating by CRISIL in 1991-92. They have a P1 rating on their commercial paper programme. In 2000-2001, their Commercial Paper worth Rs 10 Crores was given the highest rating of Ind D1 from Fitch Rating India Pvt Ltd. The company has a Capital Adequacy Ratio of 13.12% as at 31st March 2001 which meets the Reserve Bank of India’s stipulation of 12%. They are applying to become a Category One Merchant Banker that would enable them to manage public issues, underwrite portfolios, and manage money.
