About IL&FS Engineering & Construction Co Ltd

Maytas Infra Limited (MIL), based in Hyderabad, India, is an Infrastructure Development Company with more than two decades of experience in project execution. The ISO 9001: 2000-certified company works in the fields of Development of Infrastructure Projects, Construction of Infrastructure Projects and Project Management. These include Roads/Expressways/Highways, Buildings/Industrial Structures, Irrigation Canals/Dams and Thermal/Hydel Power Projects. It entered into various joint ventures over the years such as with Sri Shankaranarayana Construction Company, Trafalgar House Construction Tunneling UK, and IJM Corporation Bhd., Malaysia. In April 2008, MIL led a consortium in signing a Project Development Agreement with the Infrastructure Development Department of the Government of Karnataka to develop and operate airports at Gulbarga and Shimoga. It was also awarded the contract for Indias first Washery Reject Coal-based power plant of 120 Megawatt capacity. MIL was recognized by Construction World Magazine for being the Fastest Growing Construction Company 1st Rank in 2003 and 3rd Rank in 2006. It has also joined the World All Economic Forum as a Global Growth Company (GGC) Member in August 2008. With new initiatives and technology-driven expertise, Maytas Infra is on a mission to construct world-class infrastructure for enhancing the quality of life.
