About Disa India Ltd

Disa India Ltd., formerly George Fisher Disa part of Disa A/S Group, manufactures advanced foundry machinery such as moulding plants, sand plants, and shot blasting machines. With two manufacturing plants located in Tumkur and Hoskote in Karnataka, the company provides complete foundry systems to customers in Delhi, Pune, Kolkata, and Bangalore. Having been promoted on May 25, 1984 as BMD Industries, Disa A/S acquired a 50% stake in the former JV and became the sole owner of George Fisher Disa in 2000. Subsequently, the company’s Indian operations became part of Disa A/S and its name was changed to Disa India Ltd. In 2010, the company commissioned its New DISAFLEX80 which expanded its range in the Horizontal Flask Lines Category. Along with this, various machines like the Automatic Mould Handling AMH Systems in India and the New DISAMATIC Vertical Moulding Machine, the Match 2024 Horizontal Matchplate Moulding Machine, HBI from the Wheelabrator range, the New DISA 20FP Core Machine and the Manipulator Type DS1 Machine were launched. Furthermore, in 2016, the company formed a subsidiary, Bhadra Castalloys Private Limited, for manufacturing high alloy steel castings. The C3150 DISAMATIC Machine with 150 moulds/hour speed and the Shot Blasting Project for JCB Jaipur have also been executed.
