About Crimson Metal Engineering Company Ltd

Crimson Metal Engineering Company Ltd (CMECL) formerly known as Sri Saarbati Steel Tubes Ltd began operations on 15 February 1985. The company specialises in trading, leasing and production of goods, with its production unit in Pondicherry spreading across India, Sri Lanka, the Middle East and abroad. CMECL is light years ahead with its state of art machinery that produces a flawless range of pipes meeting BIS standards with a capacity of 50,000 MT per annum for galvanised and 18,000 MT per annum for black pipes. The testing equipment and vigilant quality control department ensure that high quality products reach the buyer’s satisfaction. To top it, CMECL is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company winning the Engineering Export Promotion Council Award of Excellence for seven consecutive years.
