About Coastal Corporation Ltd

Coastal Corporation Limited (formerly known as Coastal Trawlers Private Limited) was established in 1981 as a shrimp-processing and exporting company. In 1985 the Company was converted into a public limited company and in 2005 changed its name to Coastal Corporation Limited. In 2017 the company opened branch operations in Nellore in agreement with The Waterbase Limited and Bhubaneswar to increase its business. During 2019 the company’s promoters submitted consent applications to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) due to observed irregularities. As a result, Coastal Corporation Limited and its corresponding promoters were ordered to pay a combined total of Rs. 4,107,188/ (Rs. 2,795,000 and Rs. 1,312,188 respectively). This payment was made to cover the Settlement Orders for delayed compliance with disclosure requirements from 1997 to 2014.
