About Chemcon Speciality Chemicals Ltd

Chemcon Speciality Chemicals Limited was incorporated as a Private Limited Company in December 1988 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat and later converted to a Public Limited Company in April 2019. The Company is a leading producer of pharmaceutical intermediates, Silanes and Completion Fluids for Oilfield Chemicals. Eight individual operational plants, six warehouses and an in-house laboratory have been implemented and an ERP system aids the company's supply chain.

In 1995-1998 the Company started selling chemical products like Pyridine Hydrobromide, Para Nitro Benzyl Bromide, Methyl Iodide and GA1. Following this in 2001, production of Hexamethyldisilazane (HMDS) started, with exports beginning in 2005 and completion of a few products discontinued in 2003 due to lower demand.

In 2022 the Company increased production capacity to 2400 MTPA of TMCS and 1200 MTPA of CMIC, making them the largest manufacturer of CMIC in the world with an output of 3000 MTPA. The Warpana location further has two more plants under construction for other pharmaceutical intermediate products. With IT support and timely upgradations, the Company aims to provide competitive advantages.
