About California Software Company Ltd

California Software Company (CSCL) is an IT services firm established in February 1992, primarily providing software development, business-process outsourcing services, and IT infrastructure services. It has set up a 100% export-oriented software and technology park in Chennai, and expanded its clientele to include Technical Solutions, Act International, and Delta Airlines. In 1996, CSCL went public in order to finance the expansion of facilities in Chennai, Bangalore, and the U.S. along with setting up a non-trading office in the UK. By 2000, it had set up a new software development center in Chennai. The firm has also made strategic acquisitions across the years, such as Web Spectrum Pvt LTD, International Innovations Inc. USA, and Inatech Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd. In 2008, Kemoil Ltd became the sole promoter of CSCL and entrenched its role as a subsidiary of the Chemoil Corporation. Following divestiture of its stake in Team Frontline Limited, the firm ceased to be a subsidiary in 2008.
