About Barak Valley Cements Ltd

Bark Valley Cements Limited was incorporated on 28th April 1999, and is owned by Mr. Paroled Ray Samaria, Mr. Vijay Kumar Geordie and Mr. Santos Kumar Baja. The company plant is located in Joom Basti Devendranagar Badarpurghat, Karimganj, Assam and began commercial production in 2001 with an capacity of 300Tonnes Per Day (TPD), compared to the current capacity of 460TPD. In addition, the company has been accredited with the BIS and ISO 9001:2000 certification. The company markets their products under the brand name ‘Valley Strong Cement’ and currently have the application for their trademark registration pending with the Registrar of Trademarks. The manufacturing process for their two main products, Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) and Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC), follows the Dry Process Rotary Kiln Technology with 4 stages Suspension Pre Heater.
