Company Information

Allianz Capital, a category I merchant banker, was incorporated as Ashtan Capital & Management Services Pvt. Ltd. in September 1991 and converted into a public limited company in May 1992. It was rebranded as Allianz Capital in November 1992 and was promoted by Ashwajit Singh. The company offers an ample range of financial services such as leasing, bill discounting, intercorporate deposits, merchant banking, project advisory, corporate recruitment and system designs and studies. Allianz Capital successfully acquired an Over–the–Counter (OTC) dealership and is a principal member of the National Stock Exchange (NSE).Furthermore, it was rated FA by CRISIL Ltd, signifying satisfactory safety for its fixed deposit programmes. To expand its services, the company also plans to apply for a RBI approval to set up a Local Area Bank (LAE).
