About Accel Ltd

Accel Transmatic Limited, originally established in 1986 by two entrepreneurs from India's Kerala state, has evolved into a leading manufacturer and IT solution provider over the years. In 2002 it merged with the Accel Group, which later merged two of its own entities with Transmatic — Accel Software and Technologies and Accel IT Academy — and acquired Ushus Technologies Pvt Ltd. In 2006 it ventured into Animation through a newly created division, Accel Animation Studios. It also created a training division, Accel Academy Limited, and a 100% subsidiary, Accel North America Inc. In 2009, its System and Services business was spun off into Accel Frontline Services Limited. In 2010, Accel Transmatic sold its remaining 49% stake in Accel Academy to Accel Limited. It currently focuses its core operations on Embedded Software and Animation through Ushus Technologies and Accel Animation Studios.
