This company was founded in 1928 under the name “Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio” by Walt Disney and Roy O. Disney. The incumbent CEO of The Walt Disney Company is Bob Chapek. The iconic character, named Mickey Mouse, was created by Disney together with the first feature film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937). Moreover, it released some other successful multimedia projects, including Cinderella (1950), Treasure Island (1950), Alice in Wonderland (1951), and Peter Pan (1953). Disney got hold of Pixar in 2006 for 7.4 billion USD. More importantly, it acquired Marvel Entertainment in 2009. Disney is one of the biggest multimedia companies in the world with its reach in broadcasting, publishing, radio, television, and streaming services.
