Company Information

Since its inception in 2002, as a brainchild of Nick Woodman under Woodman Labs, Inc., GoPro Inc has continued to revolutionise the camera industry. Dubbed as capture devices, GoPros, (sometimes stylised as GoPRO) have continued to captivate motorists and adventure enthusiasts alike with their high definition wearable and mountable cameras. Based out of San Matteo, California, GoPro Inc continues to spread its roots worldwide. From dashcams to underwater videography, GoPros have become a mainstay in the lives of the global population. With the outstanding durability and remarkable flexibility, it's hard not to see why GoPros are the benchmark for cameras these days. While Woodman has been secretive about the long-term plans of the company, GoPro has revealed a flagship waterproof camera, the HERO9 Black. Armed with high-end specifications like a 360-degree waterproof camera with a 23.6 Megapixel camera sensor that provides a 5K recording, this camera has set the market ablaze right from the get-go. The GoPro subscription service, along with a camera protection plan, allows the users to edit and share their footage via the GoPro mobile application, which is well optimised for a wide range of GoPro products. To provide a seamless video editing experience for its users, GoPro Inc, in 2016, spent $105 million to acquire Stupeflix and Vemory for their video editing tools. This was followed by the acquisition of Reelsteady, for their video stabilisation software. Currently Gopro, Inc. has a market cap of $0.22 Billion. It has a P.E ratio of -4.19. The shares of Gopro, Inc. are trading at $1.76 .
