It is easy to use and can be done from any device and any location, making it very convenient for users. Signing agreements has never been so easy and convenient as with DocuSign. With DocuSign, documents can be instantly signed and returned. All documents are encrypted and so it is highly secured. DocuSign was founded in 2003 by Tom Gonser, Court Lorenzini, and Eric Ranft. The company is headquartered in San Francisco, California. DocuSign and Equifax established cooperation on January 10, 2013, to streamline the electronic transmission of Transcript of Tax Return Requests. DocuSign has prevented the unnecessary wastage of paper documentation. In DocuSign, a signed document cannot be subsequently modified or altered as the hash value will no longer match with the information stored in it. DocuSign Agreement Cloud provides DocuSign eSignature, which is a subscription-based service. If parties decide to do business entirely online, they can examine the agreement and digitally sign the final version. Premium services such as validation through mobile phones and background checks are available for an additional fee. A total of 14 companies took part in a feasibility study of electronic signatures for 4506-T forms in 2011. DocuSign and Equifax were among those that took part.
