Walt Disney Co. (commonly called Disney) is a multimedia international company that is based in America. This company was founded in 1928 under the name “Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio” by Walt Disney and Roy O. Disney. The headquarters of this media conglomerate is at the Walt Disney Studio complex in the state of Burbank, California, US. It is traded as “DIS” at New York Stock Exchange. The incumbent CEO of The Walt Disney Company is Bob Chapek. The company acquired Miramax Films in 1993 and merged with Capital Cities/ABC Inc., worth 19 billion USD. In 2001, it purchased Fox Family Worldwide for around 5.2 billion USD. Disney got hold of Pixar in 2006 for 7.4 billion USD. More importantly, it acquired Marvel Entertainment in 2009.
