About Zodiac-JRD-MKJ Ltd

ZodiacJRDMKJ Pvt Ltd was founded in January 1987 as ZodiacLeasing Pvt Ltd in Bombay, India and was promoted by Parag Parekh and Manish Parekh. The company was taken over by the JRD family (also known as the JRD Group) in April 1992 and changed its name to ZodiacJRDMKJ Pvt Ltd. The existing unit is located on a leasehold land at Dahisar Bombay and it was originally engaged in leasing finance and investment services. After the takeover, ZJML started manufacturing cut and polished diamonds with an initial capacity of 20,000 carats per annum and is in the process of further expanding its manufacturing capacity to 25,000 carats. In June 1994, it planned to further enhance its capacity to 45,000 carats through issuing of shares. ZJML is currently engaged in the manufacture of cut and polished diamonds offering a range of services to the global diamond market.
