About Vision Corporation Ltd

Vision Corporation Ltd, formerly known as Vision Paints, is a public limited company formed in March 1995. It is setting up a manufacturing plant to produce industrial and decorative paints in Silvassa, India. The total capacity of the new plant is 1600 tpa/kl including components such as enamels, primers, epoxy paints, industrial finishers, auto lacquer, auto primers, auto putty and distemper. To fund the project, the company raised Rs. 355 million through a public issue of 3.55 million equity shares of Rs. 10 each issued in March 1996. However, the management was unsuccessful in starting the project as the Electricity Department of Silvassa had not removed the High Voltage pole from the site. As a result, the company is exploring new business ideas for diversification.
