About Virtual Global Education Ltd

Virtual Global Education Limited (VGEL) was founded in February of 1993 and provides technical and vocational secondary education. It is currently operating with 85 training centers and plans to open 140 by March of 2017. Its agenda is to offer vocational training and education in the rural areas of India. With the increased competition in the job market and the are more and more people gaining qualifications online, the company is professionally led and managed by industry experts and has strong experience in running large operations throughout the country. To provide long-term resources, the company issued 13.5 million equity shares and 10 million more on 7th of January and 21st of February 2013 respectively in order to meet finance requirements for both existing and new business. The shareholders in the Extraordinary General Meeting on the 20th of April approved the subdivision of each equity share to the face value of Rs 1 each and the Book Closure was fixed from 19th of August to 22nd of August 2013.
