About Vardhman Concrete Ltd

Stresscrete India is a public limited company that manufactures precast prestressed concrete products and undertakes engineering contracts. Founded in 1982, the company has undertaken many challenging projects such as the Matunga and Goregaon flyover bridges over the railway line and MHADA housing complex at Oshiwara. They are also building a housing colony for Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam. In 1995, the company set up an integrated plant to manufacture precast concrete members with an installed capacity of 15000 cmtr pa, and are now in the process of commercial production. During the financial year 19992000, enquiries were received from Southern Railway, Konkan Railway Corporation, and Government Departments and they are expecting to secure confirmed orders. Stresscrete India has technical collaboration with Wilson Concrete Company and CEG International of the US.
