About Valiant Communications Ltd

Valiant Communications was incorporated as a private limited company in December 1993, and became a public limited company a year later. In January 1995 it released its public issue to part finance the project to manufacture analog subscriber carrier systems, digital subscriber carrier systems, optical fibre subscriber carrier systems, digital point-to-point wireless subscriber systems and optical fibre management hardware. The company has multiple tech and financial agreements with Vanguard Communications (25.8% stake), Seiscor Technologies, United Technologies India and Telect US. Production of optic fibre hardware began in December 1994, while digital systems commenced the following month. In November 1998 it got approval from the Department of Electronics, Government of India to convert its existing unit to a 100% Electronic Hardware Technology Park (EHTP) scheme towards the manufacturing of telecom transmission equipment. During 2000-2001, the company focused on telecom transmission solutions to customers and also brought out new products. Going forward, the team is focusing on VoiceData and Internet Protocol and marketing their products through alliances and OEM arrangements.
