About Vadilal Enterprises Ltd

Vadilal Enterprises Ltd, based in Ahmedabad, India, was established in 1985 and offers an array of products including ice cream, frozen desserts, mango pulp, processed food products, and forex advisory services. In 2008-09, the ice cream division launched four new products – Custard Apple Pulp Pine Apple Pieces, Green Gram, and Baan Kulcha - as well as revamped its existing RTS Curries and improved Half Cooked Parathas. This division also strengthened its presence in Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra by recruiting new distributors and reinforcing the current ones. That same year, the forex division developed a FOREX Risk Management Policy and struck up a Channel Partnership arrangement with a Pune-based IT company. In December 2008, the ice cream division won seven awards in the Great Indian IceCream Contest organised by the Indian Dairy Association (IDA - Danisco). This division is planning to expand to Kolkata, Delhi, and Madhya Pradesh in 2009-10.
