About Union Quality Plastics Ltd

Union Quality Plastics is a business specialising in the manufacture of HDPE/PP woven sacks and PP tarpaulins, promoted by the Adamji Kaderbhoy group with over 50 years experience in the packaging industry. In 1994 Union Quality Plastics underwent expansion of HDPE/PP capacity from 1080 mtpa to 3600 mtpa and diversified into the production of Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBCs). Technical collaboration with Custom Packaging Systems US on FIBCs and a 100 buyback arrangement was implemented. To fund the project expansion, a public issue was released in November 1994, with commercial production commencing in 1995.
