About Tirupati Starch & Chemicals Ltd

Tirupati Starch Chemicals is a public limited company founded by Damodar Modi in December 1985. Its factory located in Madhya Pradesh has a capacity of 12,500 tonnes per annum (tpa) and began commercial production in December 1989. In 1994, it developed a forward integration project with the capacity of 900 tpa of dextrose monohydrate and 2700 tpa of dextrose anhydrous. Machinery for the project was purchased from Alfa Laval Sweden and the dextrose plant is used for the production of 4000 MT of dextrose syrup every year. To finance the project, the company launched a public issue in May 1994.
