Suyog Gurbaxani Funicular Ropeways Limited was incorporated in February 2010 and has since then been involved in the design, development, construction and operation of funicular ropeways systems. In 2017, the Company converted to public limited and changed its name to reflect the same. The company is currently involved in a Build Operate and Transfer based infrastructural development project in Nashik Maharashtra which includes a 2 Air Conditioner funicular vehicles, 60 passenger capacity, a shopping mall with a capacity of 50 shops, parking facility for more than 150 vehicles, 28 guestroom hotel, multi cuisine restaurant, and a coffee shop. The funicular ropeway tickets have been prices keeping in mind the economically conscious devotees / tourists ranging from Rs.50 - Rs.100 and discounts provided on children and senior citizen tariffs. The shopping zone, parking facility and hotel are managed by the Company and provided on a paynpark basis. The Company also installed 3 DG sets (320 KVA, 100 KVA and 82.50 KVA) and has taken electricity power from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Limited for a power supply of 1,500 KW. The project was officially inaugurated by the Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra in July 2018. The Company received Final Completion Certificate from PWD Nashik in January 2019.
