About Haleos Labs Limited

SMS Lifesciences India Private Limited was incorporated as Potluri Real Estate in 2006 and then changed names to undertake activities in the pharma sector. The company became a public company in 2016 and is engaged in the business of manufacturing and export of APIs and their intermediaries, with two factories located in Hyderabad. The company implemented a demerger scheme in 2017 which allotted 30,23,287 equity shares of Rs. 10 to its shareholders, which earned it a listing on the BSE and NSE. The company acquired Mahi Drugs Private Limited in 2018 as a wholly owned subsidiary and achieved production of 2,040 MT of APIs and their intermediaries for the financial year 2018-19. During the financial year 2019-20, API production decreased to 1,364 MT due to USFDA guidelines on Ranitidine HCL. On March 5, 2020, SMS Lifesciences India won the prestigious ‘India Pharma Bulk Drugs Company of the Year’ award at FICCI’s 5th edition of ‘India Pharma & Medical Device 2019’ in collaboration with the Ministry of Chemical and Fertilizers, Government of India.
