About Shri Dinesh Mills Ltd

Shri Dinesh Mills, established in 1935 in Vadodara, is a renowned name in the woollen suitings industry. The company has diversified in to the manufacture of papermakers felts, industrial fabrics, basic chemicals and electroplating, in a joint venture with Albany International Canada. In the 199697 Indian paper industries were in a crisis due to input costs and an increase in imports of finished paper, leading to a customs duty decrease of 45%, from 65% to 20%. This prompted the formation of a joint venture in 199798 named McGean Rohco Dinesh Pvt. Ltd. The company holds 51% share and McGean Rohco Inc. holds the remaining 49%. This joint venture allows for the integration of enhanced technology, and enables the company to expand and diversify its range of Metal finishing chemicals. Starting from 1st April 1999, McGean Rohco Dinesh Pvt. Ltd. has been successfully up and running for over 20 years.
