Shree Ganesh Biotech India Ltd was incorporated in 1982 as a public limited company, engaged in the production, processing and marketing of high quality hybrid seeds for crops like corn, sunflower, cotton, paddy, grain and sorghum. In 2010, it underwent a scheme of amalgamation with S.P. Commercial Co. Limited and the business of its trading and distribution of seeds were transferred to the company. This led to the dissolution of Shree Ganesh BioTech and also a change of name and a new certificate of incorporation was issued in March 2011.
