About RBA

Restaurant Brands Asia Limited (RBAL) was originally incorporated as Burger King India Private Limited in 2013 in Mumbai and subsequently converted to a public ltd. in 2019. The company is a subsidiary of QSR Asia Pte Ltd and began operations in 2014 under the globally recognised Burger King brand, which is owned by Burger King Corporation and part of Restaurant Brands International. RBAL services India with exclusive rights on developing and franchising Burger King outlets and has become the fastest growing international QSR chain with 200 outlets by 2019 in 100 countries and US territories. In 2021 RBAL had grown to 315 restaurants in 58 Indian cities thanks to consistent expansion and a focus on value leadership that leverages the global Burger King brand whilst tailoring menus to local Indian tastes. Furthermore, in 2021 RBAL were awarded the Global Master Franchisee of the Year award and acquired a majority stakeholding in PT Sari Burger and PT Sari Chicken in Indonesia, which became its subsidiaries.
