About Rajdarshan Industries Ltd

AR Enterprises (AREL), originally established in 1980 as a private limited company in Jaipur, was converted to a public limited company in December 1992 with the aim to expand and diversify into mechanised mining of marble blocks. Rajasthan possesses a large quantity of marble, primarily in the green variety and most other companies use primitive mining techniques like blasting and drilling which result in a low recovery rate of 15-20%. AREL has employed mechanised mining techniques in three of their green marble mines which has resulted in a higher recovery rate of up to 70%, as well as large blocks of marble in high demand internationally. The company has also recently signed a contract with Edilmarmi Italy to receive 50% of AREL’s production, and has an MoU with Madhav Marbles and Granites for a share of their marble products in the domestic market. AREL is looking to expand their mining activity in the near future.
