About Prism Finance Ltd

Prism Finance Ltd, incorporated on 28th Apr.94 and formerly known as Bharat Vijay Mills Ltd, was promoted by Arun P Patel Rahul A Patel and Pranay A Patel to engage in a wide scope of financial services including fund and nonfund based activities such as leasing, hire purchase, bill discounting, inter corporate funds placement, investments, merchant banking and more. To augment their long term working capital requirements of the company, the company held a public issue in 1996 with 3500000 equity shares of Rs.10 each for a total of Rs.350 lacs. While 2001 saw some ups and downs in terms of global and Indian economy, Prism Finance wasn't able to perform as well as hoped due to weak market conditions.
