In 2000, the company's status was changed to a Sick Industrial Company under the SICA or Sick Industrial Companies Act, requiring them to be referred to the Board of Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR). PHAARMASIA LTD now deals with assisting companies that meet the criteria of a Sick Industrial Company using the BIFR. This professional service helps companies to become financially stable once again. Through this process, companies like PHAARMASIA LTD can assist businesses in the return of credit; restoration of availability of finance; and the restoration of investor confidence.
