About Palash Securities Ltd

Palash Securities Limited was incorporated in 2015 and operates as a Core Investment Company (CIC) under RBI guidelines, investing in group companies, immovable properties, and securities. The Palash group has five wholly owned subsidiaries, including Hargaon Investment and Trading Co. Ltd., OSM Investment and Trading Co. Ltd., Champaran Marketing Co. Ltd., Allahabad Canning Ltd., and Hargaon Properties Ltd. Allahabad Canning Ltd. is engaged in food processing and the other companies focus on investments and NBFC activities. In 2017, Palash Securities underwent a business realignment process from OSML, transferring assets and liability for food processing and investments from OSML to Palash, and transferring food processing from Palash to Allahabad Canning Ltd. In 2020-21, rights were issued to allocate 1208305 equity shares as an offer from Allahabad Canning Ltd. to Palash’s subsidiaries. This offer was of Rs 10 face value and a premium of Rs 65.80, bringing the total to Rs 9.16 crores. The entire offered shares have been successfully renounced.
