About Padmanabh Alloys & Polymers Ltd

Padmanabh Alloys and Polymers (PAPL) was established in Nov. 94 and is promoted by Padmanabh Polymers Pvt Ltd (PPPL) with the help of four promoters - Sumant C Desai, Vijay Vashi Bhikhubhai Desai, and Ranjitbhai Desai - who have expertise in the marketing and manufacturing of filled and reinforced polymers and masterbatches. As PPPL faced infrastructural limitations, PAPL was created to provide a large-scale expansion and full commercial exploitation of its products. PAPL set up a project in Palsana, Surat, Gujarat that has an installed capacity of 7800 tonnes per annum to create mineral filled thermoplastic compounds, mineral masterbatches, property modifier masterbatches and colour masterbatches, as well as a synthetic paper and biodegradable compounds. A 33 lakh equity shares of Rs 10 each public issue was made to raise Rs 330 lakh to part-finance the project.
