About Orient Press Ltd

Orient Press Limited (OPL) was founded in 1987 and went public in 1990. It is a subsidiary of Madhuban Lending and Holdings and offers printing services for public issues stationery. In an effort to diversify, OPL invested in rotogravure printing and lamination of films used for flexible packaging and rotogravure cylinders. The company raised funds due to a planned expansion into paper board carton manufacturing, investing Rs 16.35 crore into a new paper board carton production facility at Silvassa, with production commencing in 1998. Unfortunately, the company has not been successful and has become a sick company under SICA and has made reference to BIFR.
