About Omkar Speciality Chemicals Ltd

Omkar Speciality Chemicals Limited was initially established in 2005 as a private limited company and later in 2010 became a public limited company. Initially, the company had a capacity of 6 MT per annum for manufacturing molybdenum derivatives. By 2007, the installed capacity of the company was raised to 325 MT and in 2009 to 375 MT after setting up a new manufacturing facility. In 2011, a research center was setup, and 2012, the company entered pharmaceutical business by acquiring LASA Laboratories in Mahad. In 2013, they got the rights to a plot in MIDC and in 2015, they commenced a new facility in Chiplun. After all this tremendous growth, the company now has an installed capacity of 950 MT and recently bagged indents worth Rs 100 crore.
