About NGL Fine Chem Ltd

Established in 1981 in Maharashtra, the Company runs a registered office and factory in New Bombay. Mr. A.G Lawande and Mr. R.J Nachane are the promoters of the business that began by manufacturing Chloroquine Phosphate antimalarial. However, the adverse drought conditions in 1985-86 caused a dip in the demand for the drug, leading to a price war and resulting losses. The Company then faced an illegal strike from October 1996 till 1997. To continue operations they resorted to importing and having others process the materials. After resolving the labour disputes with the workers, the Company now looks to a brighter future.
