Neo Infracon Limited was founded in 1981 and operates in the real estate construction and development sector. In 2016, the company made significant investments in NewTech Infrastructure Private Limited and Nocil Infrastructure Limited, making them their Wholly Owned Subsidiaries (WOS). Over the subsequent years (2016-2018), the company granted Short Term Loans to its WOS worth Rs. 29,75,68,44, Rs. 25,07,98,36 and Rs. 38,61,03,61 respectively. As the money is specifically invested in the WOS, section 1863 is not applicable to such loan and advances.
