Modern Shares Stockbrokers Ltd. (MSSL) was incorporated in 1939 as a private limited company as Modern Home Credit Capital Limited (MHCCL) and became a publicly listed company in 1970. Initially dealing in the laundering and processing of clothes and linen, the company further ventured into other fund-based activities including investments, inter corporate deposits, bill discounting, leasing, loans, and syndication. Additionally, it expanded its operations to Leasing, Hire Purchase, and Investment in equity as well as merchant banking activities. MSSL is headquartered in Bombay and has been providing effective financial services to its clients since its inception.
